Our Story
At Cura Private Nursing Care, we believe that true care is born from compassion, experience, and a genuine love for people.
Founded in 2025 by Lezill Pyper in the heart of George, Western Cape, Cura was created in response to a growing and urgent need: affordable, high-quality home care for elderly individuals, disabled persons, and those recovering from illness or surgery in the Garden Route community.
With years of hands-on experience working closely with patients and families, Lezill recognized a painful gap in the system — many were left struggling without access to the supportive, dignified, and attentive care they deserved. Determined to make a real difference, she set out to build an organization that could bridge this gap: offering not just assistance, but hope, companionship, and comfort.
Cura Private Nursing Care proudly stands as a trusted name in personalized home nursing care, changing the belief that the only way caring for the elderly is old age home care – it should become the LAST choice of action! Every member of our team shares the same mission: to provide quality, heartfelt service that supports health, happiness, and dignity — allowing our clients to thrive safely in the place they love most: their home.
At Cura, we are more than caregivers.
We are companions.
We are advocates.
We are family.

Meet the Founder
Lezill Pyper
Lezill Pyper is a proud wife and mother of four—her greatest treasures in life. Her journey into caregiving was deeply shaped by personal experience: during her youngest son’s two-year illness and following his passing 14 years ago, her life and outlook were forever changed. Through this heartbreaking time, God brought her heart closer to earth and reminded her of the true value of family, and the fragility of life.
From a young age, Lezill was taught that a woman’s hands are never too good to serve. Raised to lead with compassion, she has always gone the extra mile to help others—not out of duty, but from a place of deep love. Honesty, respect, and kindness are the principles she lives by, and she is never afraid to admit when she’s made a mistake, always choosing humility and growth.
Lezill believes her purpose is to serve others with a joyful heart. Each day is a blessing, and by caring for others, she honours the One who gave her this calling. It’s this heartfelt dedication that led her to establish Cura Private Nursing Care—where compassion is not just a value, but a way of life.
